- Latest Important News for Overseas
Applicants
From the beginning of December 2008, the United Kingdom Government
has introduced further changes to the law on preventing illegal
working (including certain types of volunteering). These changes
include requirements that volunteers from outside of the EU/EEA zone
must be in possession of a Certificate of Sponsorship before
applying for entry to the United Kingdom.
SHAD is in the process of
becoming a licenced sponsor to enable it to issue Certificates of
Sponsorship to volunteer applicants from outside of the EU/EEA zone.
Until such time as a licence has been issued SHAD is not in a
position to accept any applications or enquiries from persons resident
outside of the EU/EEA zone.
